NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-0 win over Norfolk State Friday night at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center on the campus of ODU. 

ODU won at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles to take the doubles point and swept Nos. 1 through 5 singles for the win.

Lerissa Morris (Kingstown, SVG) turned in NSU's best singles performance in the losing effort, falling to Daniela Cohen 6-1, 6-3.

The Spartan women return to action on Saturday when they take on James Madison at the Folkes-Stevens Center.
