Clear Bag Policy
To provide a safer environment for fans and expedite entry into William "Dick" Price Stadium, Norfolk State Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy for all football games and select special events.
To help ensure a smooth and efficient entry process, fans are strongly encouraged to leave all unnecessary bags at home. All permitted bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

Permitted Bags
Guests may bring the following bags into William "Dick" Price Stadium:
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- Bags must be completely clear with no tinted panels or decorations that obstruct visibility.
- One (1) clear, one-gallon resealable plastic storage bag (Ziploc® or similar).
- One (1) small clutch purse or wallet, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. Clutch bags may be carried separately or inside an approved clear bag.
Prohibited Bags
The following items are not permitted inside William "Dick" Price Stadium:
- Purses larger than a small clutch
- Backpacks
- Cinch bags or drawstring bags
- Fanny packs
- Diaper bags*
- Briefcases
- Coolers
- Camera bags
- Computer or laptop bags
- Luggage
- Containers
- Any bag exceeding the approved size limits
*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items and approved childcare supplies, which are subject to inspection.
Game Day Security
To enhance the safety of all guests, Norfolk State University Police and event staff utilize security screening measures that may include:
- Walk-through metal detectors
- Bag inspections
- Handheld screening devices
- Pat-downs when deemed necessary
Guests may also bring approved personal items such as cell phones, cameras, binoculars, keys, and wallets.
Norfolk State Athletics appreciates the cooperation of all fans as we work to provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable game day experience. These procedures are consistent with security practices implemented at collegiate and professional sporting venues across the country.
Accessible Parking
Guests requiring accessible parking should enter campus through Gate 8 on game day. Vehicles displaying a valid accessible parking placard or license plate must also present a public parking pass or purchase public parking upon arrival at Gate 8.
