BALTIMORE, Md. — The Norfolk State women's basketball team resumes MEAC play on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Coppin State (1-10, 0-1) and then play at Morgan State on Monday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.

NSU fell to 0-9 on the season after a 79-40 loss at Utah last Friday. Raychele Payne led the Spartan effort with 11 points. On the season, the Spartans are shooting 30.5 percent (162-of-532) from the field and 26.4 (33-of-125) percent from beyond the arc. Payne leads the team in scoring at 8.8 points per game and freshman guard Marquilla Evans tops the team with 3.8 rebounds per game.
