NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State women's tennis team fell 7-0 in its season opener at Old Dominion on Saturday night at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.

The Lady Monarchs (2-0) won all three doubles matches and all six singles matches in straight sets.

The Spartans (0-1) were led by Chenge Tsapayi (Harare, Zimbabwe) who won six games in the losing effort, falling to Marija Citic 7-5, 6-1.

NSU takes on James Madison at the Folkes-Stevens Center on Feb. 14 at 9 a.m.
