NORFOLK, Va. --- The Norfolk State women's basketball team looks to extend its 11-game winning streak this weekend in a pair of key MEAC matchups.
 
Norfolk State is set for a road test against Coppin State on Saturday, Feb. 22 in Baltimore, Md. at 2 p.m. NSU has won the previous six meetings with Coppin State dating back to Feb. 19, 2022.
 
The Spartans took down the Eagles 82-66 on Jan. 11 at Echols Hall. Senior forward Kierra Wheeler led the Spartans, adding 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block to her totals. Anjanae Richardson (18), Diamond Johnson (15), Da'Brya Clark (13) and Makoye Diawara (11) also scored in double-figures.
 
Norfolk State cruised to a 92-44 win on Monday against Delaware State. Johnson led Norfolk State with 31 points, marking her second highest point total of the season. Wheeler (18) and Richardson (13) both scored in double-figures in the win.
 
NSU will return to Echols Hall on Monday, Feb. 24 against Morgan State at 5:30 p.m. for Senior Night. Norfolk State has won the previous four meetings vs. MSU.
 
Norfolk State held off Morgan State on the road, picking up a 77-69 win on Monday, Jan. 13 at Hill Field House. Johnson led NSU with 24 points, adding eight steals, seven assists, and five rebounds. Wheeler also posted a double-double in the win with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
 
Both games will stream live on ESPN+ with Monday's game featuring Ross Gordon and Woube Gebre on the call. WNSB Hot 91.1 FM will also provide radio coverage for both games.

• Diamond Johnson led NSU with 31 points, adding five rebounds, three assists, and two steals to her totals
