NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State tennis Freshman Patryk Kowal earned MEAC Tennis Rookie of the Week honors, following his performance at cross-town rival Old Dominion.
Kowal earned a hard-fought victory at the No. 1 singles, defeating ODU sophomore Jean-Karim Olivier de Sardan in three sets, 7-6, 4-6, 10-8.
The Spartans return to action on February 22 when they host Hampton at the Warren Tennis Center in Norfolk, Va.
