LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — The Norfolk State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision on the road to Rider on Sunday afternoon, closing out a three-match road swing.
Rider claimed the early momentum by securing the doubles point, winning two of three matches to take a 1-0 lead. The Broncs picked up victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, while the Spartan tandem of Boris Lunin and Marcin Dójczynski earned a 7-6 (7-2) win at No. 2 to highlight Norfolk State's effort in doubles play.
In singles competition, Rider extended its lead by claiming four of the six flights to secure the match.
