2025-26: Indoor: Competed in three meets … Notched a personal best throw of 10.95 meters at the MEAC Indoor Championships to place 11th … Also placed 11th in the shot put at the same meet with a throw of 13.66 meters … Took seventh in the shot put at the Indoor Pre Nationals with a throw of 14.14 meters … Outdoor: Notched a personal best throw of 14.97 meters at the NSU invite in the shot put to place fifth … Also took sixth with a personal best toss of 42.57 meters in the hammer throw at the same meet … Placed seventh at the MEAC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 14.53 meters in the shot put … Also took eighth in the discus throw (41.90 meters) and ninth in the hammer throw (39.53 meters) … Recorded a fourth-place finish in the shot put at the Bill Carson Invite (14.21 meters) … Threw a personal best 44.10 meters in the discus throw at the USF Alumni Invite.  

High School: Participated in track & field and football all four years … In football, he was a four time all-region and all-district member, along with a two time all-state … In track & field, he was a two-time all-region, all-state, and all-district athlete.

Personal: Jayshaun Campbell was born on April 20, 2006 … Son of Crystal and Larry Campbell … Has two brothers: Larry and Octayvien … Likes to fish, bowl, and work out in his free time … Majoring in exercise science … plans to take his exercise science background to chiropractic school upon graduation.
