NORFOLK, Va. --- Norfolk State women's distance runner
Sonia Koech received Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week accolades, following her performance at the Indoor Pre-Nationals Feb. 13-14.
The Kericho, Kenya native led Norfolk State in the mile, placing second with a time of 5:17.63, while also helping the DMR team to a second-place finish, clocking a time of 12:50.23.
The Spartans return to action at the MEAC Indoor Championships, set for Feb. 22–23 in Virginia Beach, Va., at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
