Handled punting duties as a true freshman … Named the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year … Averaged 38.8 yards per punt on 62 total punts during the year … Had 15 of his punts land inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, 11 were fair-caught and four traveled at least 50 yards … Averaged 40+ yards per punt in five games, with a high of 42.8 on a season-high 10 punts at JMU … Averaged 41.7 per punt at Delaware State … Named MEAC Special Teams Player of the Week after the win at N.C. Central, when he averaged 40.1 yards per punt, three of which landed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line (two inside the 10) … Also had a season-long 56-yard punt in that game … Also averaged 41.4 yards per punt at Morgan State … Also had three rushes for 34 yards on the year on fake punts or broken plays, made four special teams tackles and kicked off twice for a 56-yard average.

A multi-sport athlete at Oglethorpe County … As a senior, was an Athens All-Area performer and the Region 8AA Punter of the Year … Rated the No. 19 punter in the nation in the class of 2017 by Chris Sailer Kicking … Also played basketball and track as a senior at Oglethorpe … Was region champion in the 100 and 200 meters as a senior, placing in the top 10 in the state in both events … As a junior, was an all-state selection in football and was also the region 100-meter champion for the Oglethorpe track team.
