Earned All-MEAC first-team honors as NSU’s punter … played in 10 games … averaged 40.5 yards per punt, the second-best single-season average in NSU history trailing only Brian Evans’ 41.5 mark in 1982 … had seven punts over 50 yards, nine were fair-caught and 10 went inside the opponent’s 20-yard line … averaged 45.7 yards on six punts with a long of 57 yards in his NSU debut at Liberty … also completed a 9-yard pass on a fake punt to convert a first down in that game … averaged a season-best 48.5 yards per punt on two boots against Delaware State …had a season-long 58-yard punt, one of his two punts over 50 yards, at Hampton … had four punts land inside the HU 20 and averaged 43.2 yards per attempt … also averaged 44.5 yards at Bethune-Cookman and 42.0 against N.C. A&T.

At GMC
Averaged 43 yards per punt as a sophomore at GMC … also played four games at quarterback, passing for 750 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions … completed 66 percent of his passes.

High School
Four-year letterman in football and baseball and three in basketball … made the all-state team at punter his senior season … named the Southern Crescent Quarterback of the Year after throwing for 2,767 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior … also averaged 42 yards per punt that season … was all-region at both punter and quarterback … passed for over 2,500 yards and 27 TDs as a junior, when he was named the team’s Offensive MVP.
